Business Analyst (London Area)

McCabe & Barton are partnered with a Specialist Retail Banking client in sourcing a Business Analyst on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract to assess and develop all business change activities across people, process, and technology.

Key Accountabilities and experience needed:

  • Extensive Business Analyst experience and excellent analytical and reasoning skills.
  • Identifying opportunities for delivering business value by improving business processes, developing new systems, and evolving the operation.
  • Solid experience in Lending, Banking or Financial Services.
  • Acts as a liaison between department end-users, technical experts, developers, 3rd party suppliers and testers.
  • Experience of Consulting in the end-to-end project life cycle through analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of systems to ensure they meet the department's optimal operational performance.
  • Writes/supports detailed universally understood Business Cases for requests for new initiatives and funding requests
  • Strong experience of dealing with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Conducts change impact analysis to assess the potential implications of changes and documents business rules, functions and requirements
  • Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders in a fast paced environment.
