Overview

I’m working with a global quantitative investment firm that is expanding its systematic crypto trading desk and looking for a Crypto Quant Developer to help build the technology behind their algorithmic trading strategies.

This is a front office engineering role sitting directly with traders and quants, focused on building and scaling the infrastructure that powers systematic crypto trading.

Key highlights:

• Building the quant technology stack for systematic crypto trading

• Developing front office systems for algorithmic trading, including risk engines and post trade infrastructure

• Productionising quantitative models and supporting live trading strategies

• Working closely with traders and quantitative researchers to automate and scale strategies running 24 7

• Designing clean, scalable architecture using modern engineering tools

• Opportunity to experiment with new technologies and introduce new ideas into the platform

Technology:

• Strong Python development

• C++ or Rust beneficial

• Real time, scalable trading or quantitative systems

• Cloud exposure such as AWS is a plus

This would suit someone with 4+ years experience building quantitative or trading systems who enjoys working close to the trading desk and solving complex engineering problems in a fast moving environment.
