Director of Productivity and Collaboration

My client is seeking a Director of Productivity & Collaboration to lead a large-scale enterprise productivity function within a complex global organisation.
This is a high-profile leadership opportunity for a technically credible professional who can combine technology vision, commercial acumen, and people leadership to drive the future of workplace productivity and collaboration across the business.
The successful candidate will oversee a team of between 10-14 professionals, manage significant vendor relationships and software contracts, and shape the roadmap for modern workplace technologies used by thousands of employees globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the enterprise Productivity & Collaboration strategy.
  • Lead, develop and mentor a high-performing team of 10-14 direct reports.
  • Own relationships with strategic technology vendors and service providers.
  • Manage software and licensing budgets in the region of £15m-£20m.
  • Drive the adoption and optimisation of modern workplace technologies.
  • Oversee contract negotiations, renewals and commercial governance activities.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across Technology, Operations, Procurement and Finance.
  • Ensure services remain secure, scalable, cost-effective and aligned to business objectives.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and develop strategic roadmaps to enhance employee experience and productivity.

About You
You will bring a blend of technical expertise, leadership capability, and commercial experience gained within a large enterprise environment.

I am particularly interested in candidates who have:
  • Significant experience leading enterprise productivity and collaboration teams.
  • A strong technical background within modern workplace technologies.
  • Proven people management experience, including leadership of managers and senior engineers.
  • Experience managing large-scale software licensing and technology budgets.
  • Strong contract negotiation and vendor management expertise.
  • A background within Financial Services or other highly regulated environments Preferred.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking capability with the ability to translate business objectives into technology outcomes.
  • Experience driving digital workplace transformation initiatives and technology adoption programmes.
Location: Hybrid -2/3 days in the Central London office
