Preferred Location: York, Bristol or Norwich Salary: Up to £55,000 + benefits Full-time | Permanent | Hybrid (2 days/week in office)
Our client in financial services is looking for a proactive and experienced IT Contract Manager to join their team, supporting supplier relationships and governance activities. This is a hands-on role focused on managing relationships with key suppliers and ensuring contract performance and alignment with business needs.
You'll be part of a collaborative team that touches every business unit. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a regulated environment and enjoys balancing structured governance with dynamic problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage supplier relationships and performance across contracts.
- Lead governance activities and ensure compliance with regulatory and risk frameworks.
- Support contract changes, transformation programmes, and business unit initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contract alignment and delivery.
- Provide advice and insight on supplier risk, operational resilience, and contract value.
- Think creatively to solve challenges without relying solely on RFPs or sourcing materials.
What They Are Looking For
- Solid experience in contract management and vendor/supplier governance.
- Understanding of third-party risk and regulatory environments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to advise and influence.
- Experience in application maintenance or IT service contracts is highly desirable.
- A flexible mindset with the ability to balance governance rigour and dynamic delivery.
