PMO - Demand & Portfolio Activity
Location: Gaydon (hybrid) Duration: 12 months (Maternity cover / possible extensions)
Day rate: circa £270 inside ir35
One of our clients is seeking a PMO with experience supporting a fast-paced digital transformation focused on delivering outstanding customer experiences. You will play a key coordination role in managing digital demand and portfolio activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture, validate, and coordinate digital demand through agreed intake and governance processes
- Ensure demand is accurately tracked, prioritised, and routed to appropriate delivery teams
- Support governance forums by preparing reports, dashboards, and decision-making materials
- Maintain visibility of the digital portfolio, highlighting risks, issues, and dependencies
- Assist prioritisation activities aligned to strategic roadmaps and business objectives
- Build strong relationships with business and digital stakeholders, acting as a key point of coordination
- Support continuous improvement of demand and portfolio management processes
Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting PMO, portfolio, or demand management activities in complex organisations
- Good understanding of digital ecosystems and delivery environments
- Familiarity with Agile ways of working
- Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to analyse data from multiple sources to support informed decisions
- Professional PMO qualifications desirable but not essential
