QA Automation Lead - Fintech

Location: Hybrid - 3 days on-site Start: ASAP Company Overview:Our client is a well-known Fintech organisation that has pivoted to providing data and intelligence solutions for hedge funds and asset managers. They've recently secured a significant cash injection and are in the process of building out a brand-new data science team.Role Overview:They are currently seeking an experienced QA Lead to support a key initiative, helping to manage out an existing team member while establishing better testing standards.Key Responsibilities:* Leading QA efforts across both automated and manual testing environments.* Working within a platform engineering environment.* Managing a small QA team across multiple locations.* Building out the QA function from scratch.* Collaborating with the wider tech and product teams to enhance quality across the board.Tech Stack:* PHP / Node.js(Note: Candidates don't need to code in these, but familiarity is beneficial.)Ideal Candidate:* Strong experience as a QA Lead.* Proven capability in both manual and automated testing.* Comfortable operating in a start-up or scale-up environment.* Strong communication and leadership skills - ability to manage performance issues diplomatically.
