90000.00 - 100000.00 per annumLondonPermanentSenior Data EngineerPrivate Equity Real EstateLocation: LondonWorking:5 days per week onsite (non-negotiable)Package: Up to 120k Total CompensationThe Role An opportunity to join a highly successful private equity investment firm as they continue to invest in their data platform and engineering capabilities.You'll play a key role in building and evolving the firm's cloud-based data platform, developing scalable data pipelines, integrating internal and external data sources, and delivering high-quality data that directly supports investment decisions.This is a hands-on engineering role in a fast-paced environment, working closely with investment, finance and asset management teams. You'll also mentor two junior Data Engineers while owning day-to-day technical delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build and optimise scalable data pipelines and ETL processesIntegrate internal and external data sources using APIs and scriptingBuild and enhance cloud-based data infrastructure using AWS/GCP and SQLDrive automation and continuous improvements across the data platformEnsure data quality, governance and reliability across datasetsDevelop reporting and analytics solutions to support commercial decision-makingPartner closely with business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutionsMentor and support two junior Data EngineersKey Requirements4+ years' experience in Data Engineering or a similar roleStrong SQL and Python development experienceSolid experience with Snowflake (essential)Experience building cloud-based data platforms (AWS and/or GCP)Experience working with APIs and integrating multiple data sourcesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsComfortable working directly with business stakeholders in a fast-paced environmentPrevious mentoring or coaching experience is desirablePlease note:5 days per week onsite in Mayfair, LondonCandidates must be able to start within 2 months Get in touch for more details - ncarolan@mcgregor-boyall.comMcGregor Boyall is an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on any grounds.
