About the RoleWe are seeking an exceptional Senior SQL Server Developer with deep expertise in building high-performance, scalable, and mission-critical database solutions. This role is ideal for someone who truly lives and breathes SQL Server.
While SQL Server is the core requirement, experience with .NET technologies is a strong advantage.
You will work on large-scale, high-traffic, performance-heavy systems within a collaborative engineering culture where technical excellence, clean architecture, and best practices are highly valued - all within a fully remote environment.
About YouYou are a highly analytical and detail-oriented database specialist who takes pride in producing clean, efficient, and maintainable code. You have extensive experience working with highly available, high-volume databases and 24/7 data-driven systems.
You are confident collaborating with internationally distributed engineering teams and can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You focus on understanding root causes rather than treating symptoms and continuously seek to enhance both systems and your own skill set.
You are comfortable working with tools such as Elasticsearch, Rollbar, Jira, CI/CD pipelines, and source control systems, and you thrive in Agile environments.
Mandatory Skills & Experience8+ years' hands-on experience with SQL Server (2016+)
Advanced T-SQL expertise, including complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and schema design
Strong performance tuning skills, including execution plan analysis, indexing strategies, concurrency, and locking
Experience with SSIS, service brokers, and messaging systems (eg, SSSB, Kafka)
Solid understanding of database security, roles, and best practices
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (eg, TeamCity), source control (Git), and database unit testing
Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools (Elasticsearch, Rollbar, Sentry)
Proven experience supporting high-traffic, 24/7 production systems
Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating across international teams
