System Manager
We are partnering with a leading logistics company to recruit a System Manager responsible for the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of its core technology systems and environments. The role oversees the entire application landscape-from production through to development-and manages both internally hosted and SaaS platforms. A key focus is maintaining secure, stable systems and providing clear reporting on their health, risks, and value to the business.
This role is offered on a permanent basis and requires 5 days on site.
Key Responsibilities-
Manage all system environments (production, test, staging, development, training) and ensure they remain consistent and well maintained.

Safeguard data integrity, version alignment, and controlled change across the landscape.

Coordinate environment refreshes, setup, and decommissioning with internal teams and external vendors.

Monitor system performance, availability, capacity, and error patterns across all platforms.

Deliver regular health reports and dashboards to technology and business stakeholders.

Define and maintain KPIs that measure system stability and service performance.

Ensure testing environments are available, correctly configured, and appropriately isolated for development, QA, UAT, and project activities.

Manage refresh schedules, test data quality, and environment performance to minimise test delays and defects.

Collaborate with delivery teams to resolve environment issues and coordinate cross-system testing cycles.
