My Client...is the go-to-market engine for the global digital infrastructure sector, with over 25 years global experience, due to considerable growth an exciting launch for 2027 is now requiring a senior conference producer with over 5 years commercial content experience & Portuguese language skills.
The Role... As a Senior Conference Producer, you will take full strategic and commercial ownership of the Flagship Launch, working closely with the Managing Director (MD), you will drive the agenda, master executive stakeholder relationships, and co-manage our external Government Public Affairs Agency. This role is both content-driven and commercially focused, designing high-value networking experiences and content-rich agendas.
You’ll lead programme development, secure high-calibre speakers, and work closely with sales and marketing to deliver world-class events that meet financial targets. You’ll also help shape the audience strategy, ensuring the right mix of senior delegates and sponsors.
Key responsibilities include:
● Policy Engagement: Secure high-level policymakers, regulators, and international dignitaries as keynote speakers and panellists.
● Protocol & Compliance: Ensure all VIP, diplomatic, and governmental protocols are seamlessly executed onsite.
● High-Level Research: Conduct deep-dive desk research and phone interviews with C-suite executives, senior officials, and technical pioneers.
● Innovative Formats: Design engaging session formats, from closed-door ministerial roundtables.
● Identify, invite, and secure high-profile speakers and thought leaders.
● Hit speaker targets to meet product readiness goals.
● Align with sales and marketing teams on key content angles, commercial alignment and session copy and details.
● Help develop KPIs and deadlines to keep the agenda/speaker progress on track
● Help manage the event onsite, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality event and positive experience for all stakeholders
Content Curation & Sponsor Management
● Ensure world-class content and highly commercial agendas are developed
● Closely manage available sponsorship inventory and work with sales to meet targets
● Work with operations to determine the best locations, formats, and layouts for everything that needs to be delivered onsite.
● Proofread all event collateral and signage before it’s printed/published.
● Develop the slides for all onsite screens - stages, breakout rooms, public spaces, networking functions
Expertise Required:
● University educated, 2:1 or above or equivalent
● 5+ years’ experience of conference or content production in an events or publication business, if preferable but not essential
● Outstanding organisation and time management skills
● Ability to effectively prioritise workloads and handle multiple tasks at the same time
● Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading skills
● Experience of working directly with clients and managing expectations
● Excellent communicator with highly advanced interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships and influence key internal and external stakeholders
