We operate in-store retail media networks across major retail chains in France, Italy, Belgium, Poland, Spain, Portugal and Switzerland, combining DOOH screens, e-paper solutions and printed media. Through scalable, data-driven media programmes, we help leading retailers monetise their physical store estate while creating impactful opportunities for brands and agencies.
In 2024, Mediaperformances strengthened its technology-led approach with the launch of a SaaS platform leveraging IoT to enable dynamic in-store advertising activations. The UK is a strategic priority market for Mediaperformances, and we are at the beginning of our in-store retail media journey with our UK retail partners.
Social Impact
Mediaperformances is committed to responsible media. It has been the first and only advertising sales house in France to be B Corp certified since July 2021 and was certified Great Place to Work in 2023 for the fifth consecutive year. Its purpose is to “encourage more responsible consumption, accessible to all, notably through our media”.
This commitment is expressed through three programmes:
- 1% for Label, which builds awareness and understanding of selected labels via DOOH;
- For Good, which provides additional DOOH exposure for responsible brands based on defined criteria;
- and 1% for Care, which supports social engagement and associations. Mediaperformances measures the carbon impact of its campaigns and fully offsets campaign-related emissions.
The Role
As we launch and expand our Retail Media business in the UK, we are looking for an Operations Manager to lead in-store deployments, ensure service excellence, and build robust operational processes that support rapid and sustainable growth.
This is a key position: you will be the country's operational lead, with a direct impact on execution quality, operational performance, and the experience of retailers and partners. You will report to the Country Manager UK and work closely with the French Operations team and pan-European counterparts.
Key Responsibilities
Phase 1 — Deployment (0–6 months)
- Oversee the deployment of equipment across stores and retail networks (site visits, installation follow-up, etc.).
- Coordinate local service providers and establish clear governance processes.
- Act as the operational point of contact between retailers, partners and Mediaperformances.
- Identify recurring operational issues and implement corrective action plans (quality, timelines, coordination).
- Monitor impacts on invoicing and SLAs in collaboration with the French Operations team and the Country Manager.
Phase 2 — Quality & KPIs (6–12 months)
- Track operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement across retailers and the country.
- Coordinate operational alerts and escalations with the Country Manager and the French Operations team.
- Conduct field audits and regularly assess service quality.
- Validate orders and invoices related to operational services.
- Support the identification and negotiation of local partners when required.
Phase 3 — Scalability & Optimization (12+ months)
- Optimize campaign deployment processes and operational tools.
- Improve workflows, project timelines, communication and organizational efficiency.
- Manage inventory and equipment (stock control, procurement, maintenance and after-sales support).
- Share best practices with European and French teams.

Candidate Profile
Essential
- 3–5 years of experience in operations, ideally in environments involving physical deployments and partner coordination.
- Strong operational and technical profile with a hands-on mindset.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills, autonomy, attention to detail, responsiveness and excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Comfortable in a start-up environment where pragmatism, adaptability and the ability to drive projects forward are valued.
Highly Desirable — a strong fit if you come from
- Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) or digital signage environments.
- Operations roles within FMCG companies or multinational organizations.
- Demand planning, supply chain or trade operations.
- Operational project management in retail or advertising environments.
- French language skills at working proficiency level or above.
