About the Team:
Achieving revenue objectives in geographic or specifically-named account territories including identifying sales opportunities, qualifying opportunities, and efficiently leveraging resources in order to bring opportunities to successful conclusion. In addition, you will maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and personal involvement in customer relationships in order to remain consistent with Medidata business principals.
You will report into the Managing Partner of Mid Market Sales, EMEA.

About the Team:

You will report into the Managing Partner of Mid Market Sales, EMEA.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic account management plans for assigned accounts
- Attainment of all revenue and booking targets within assigned territory
- Represent Medidata in a manner consistent with company principles and ethics
- Coordinate resources within sales and other departments
- Maintain and update account and opportunity data within company systems as directed, including Salesforce.com
- Quarterly and/or annual sales targets are covered under a separate document
- You will have a strong knowledge of life sciences industry, ideally within clinical and/or R&D.
- Demonstrated consistent track record of being a trusted advisor within nominated accounts
- You will have the ability to orchestrate and manage complex sales opportunities.
- Use a consultative approach to accomplish positive outcomes for clients
- Demonstrated consistent track record in exceeding sales and related account targets
- SaaS / application software experience
- Demonstrated success with process approached selling
- Bachelor's degree required
- Requires successful relevant experience
