We're looking for a talented full-stack developer with a passion for exceptional mobile experiences and interaction design. You'll craft beautiful, engaging user experiences that rival the best consumer apps, while helping us pioneer the future of AI-powered education interfaces.

We know the chat message box is just version 0 of AI education - you'll be creating the UI/UX that defines how millions of students interact with AI tutors. This role combines deep technical expertise with a genuine love for design as we create the next generation of educational experiences.

• Build and maintain features for our React Native (Expo) mobile application
• Create smooth, delightful animations and micro-interactions that enhance the user experience
• Implement pixel-perfect designs with obsessive attention to detail
• Collaborate closely with design teams to bring concepts to life with technical excellence

• Develop and maintain features across our mobile app and Next.js web platform
• Build robust, scalable solutions that handle our rapidly growing user base
• Optimize performance and ensure smooth user experiences across all platforms
• Integrate with AI/ML services and educational content delivery systems

• Think like an interaction designer - considering user flows, edge cases, and delightful moments
• Prototype and iterate on new features with a user-first mindset
• Contribute to design discussions and provide technical input on feasibility and implementation
• Continuously improve app retention and engagement through thoughtful UX improvements

• Technical Expertise : Expert-level proficiency in React Native with Expo, plus solid experience with Next.js
• Design Sensibility : Demonstrated passion for exceptional UI/UX design, animations, and micro-interactions
• B2C Experience : Track record building consumer-facing applications with high engagement and retention
• Full-Stack Capabilities : Comfortable working across the entire stack, from mobile frontend to backend services
• Quality Focus : Obsessive attention to detail and commitment to shipping polished, bug-free experiences
• Collaborative Spirit : Ability to work closely with designers, product managers, and other developers
• Office Presence : Able to commute 4 out of 5 days a week to our office in Kings Cross, with Wednesday being work from home

• Design-Developer Hybrid : Someone who thinks like both a developer and an interaction designer
• Game/Gamification Background : Experience in gamified applications where engagement and user delight are paramount
• Consumer App Experience : Background building apps that users love and use daily
• Educational Interest : Passion for education and learning, though specific EdTech experience isn't required
