Job summary

• Do you have the ability to Build and maintain robust reporting solutions using SQL, Excel, and Power BI?
• Do you have the knowledge to coordinate responses to data and information requests, including Freedom ofInformation submissions?
• Can you work with managers, clinicians, and commissioners to ensure information is relevant, timely, and supports effective decision-making?
• This is a fixed term contract for 6 months.

Main duties of the job

You would be required to provide high-quality, timely and accurate information that supports operational and strategic decision-making at Medway Community Healthcare. The post holder will extract and analyse data from internal systems using SQL, Excel, Power BI and other tools to produce insightful reports and visualisations. This role is integral in improving data quality, supporting clinical and corporate services, and ensuring internal and external reporting requirements are met.

This role combines technical expertise with strong communication and planning skills. The post holder will engage closely with colleagues across clinical and corporate teams, supporting them to understand, use, and improve data. They will develop and maintain a suite of reporting tools and dashboards, ensure the accuracy and timeliness of routine and ad hoc submissions, and contribute to a data-driven culture within the organisation.

• MCH is considering merging with Kent Community Health Foundation Trust (KCHFT). If the merger goes ahead, the proposed transfer date is 30th September 2026 and this role will be subject to TUPE transfer to KCHFT.
