P2P & T&E Systems Manager

We are seeking an experienced P2P & T&E Systems Manager to take ownership of Procure-to-Pay (SAP Ariba) and Travel & Expense (SAP Concur) platforms across a European landscape.

This is a pivotal role responsible for the end-to-end functional and technical management of both systems, ensuring stability, compliance, seamless integrations, and continuous improvement.

Role Overview

System Ownership

• Own configuration, workflows, permissions, and controls within SAP Ariba and SAP Concur
• Maintain and oversee integrations with SAP B1, CPI, and Boomi
• Lead regression testing and release management cycles

Operational Support

• Act as Tier 2/3 escalation point for P2P and T&E incidents
• Collaborate with Service Desk and ERP teams to resolve complex issues
• Proactively reduce ticket backlog through system optimisation
• Coordinate with third-party providers as required

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to SOX / J-SOX controls and audit requirements
• Maintain standardised P2P and T&E policies and procedures
• Own and maintain system documentation, workflows, and control frameworks

Continuous Improvement & Transformation

• Identify automation and optimisation opportunities
• Deliver enhancements aligned to business needs
• Support wider digital transformation programmes
• Contribute to strategic IT roadmap delivery

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Manage third-party vendors and monitor performance
• Validate SOWs within delegated authority
• Partner closely with IT, Finance, Procurement, and regional affiliates
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels

Training & Communication

• Develop and deliver user training programmes
• Communicate system updates, releases, and improvements
• Promote best practices and drive adoption

Decision-Making Authority

• System configuration and workflow design decisions
• Enhancement prioritisation
• SOW validation within defined limits
• Governance and compliance-related decisions

Requirements

Experience & Technical Expertise

• Strong experience managing SAP Ariba (P2P) - Required and SAP Concur (T&E)- Preferred
• Integration experience with SAP B1, CPI, Boomi or similar middleware
• Proven experience in release and regression testing cycles
• Strong understanding of audit, compliance, and control environments
• Vendor management experience
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
