People & Culture Administrator

We are looking for a People & Culture Administrator who will support the People & Culture Team with all aspects of The People function which include, assisting with recruitment, coordinating the onboarding and offboarding process, maintaining colleague records and acting as the first point of contact for colleague’s queries. Other responsibilities will be broad administrative duties associated with Health & Safety, office management and facilities. This is a demanding and varied role. To excel, you will need a high level of organisation skills, be proactive and a confident communicator and have a strong sense of self direction.

HR Responsibilities include:

  • Managing SAGE HR software
  • Assisting with recruitment: liaising with candidates and scheduling interviews
  • Coordinating the onboarding and offboarding process.
  • Supporting colleague training
  • Updating policies
  • Maintaining employee records and ensuring confidentiality and GDPR compliance
  • Assisting with HR tracking & reporting: absence, sickness, time & attendance
  • Circulating, filing and preparing documentation
  • Assisting with the organisation of company events, meetings, and staff briefings
  • Building strong relationships across departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Providing confident and efficient support to the People & Culture Director

Office Administrative Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the team with ISO 9001/14001 documentation and process requirement
  • Co-ordinating with the Warehouse Administrator to manage the utilities for all sites; organising maintenance, renewals, quotes, remedials
  • Coordinating & maintaining H&S documentation, compliance checks, risk assessments, and accident logs
  • Managing office supplies, equipment, and stationery, including procurement and stock control
  • Liaising with IT support providers to resolve issues and manage user access
  • Minute Taking at various company meetings
  • Supporting senior leaders with administrative tasks

Job Specifics & Benefits:

  • Monday to Friday 09:00am to 17:00pm (No weekends or Bank Holidays)
