Training Administrator

Training Administrator

£30,750 | 35 hours per week | Hybrid / London

Great with people? Brilliantly organised? And the sort of person who looks at a clunky process and thinks, “There must be a better way of doing this”?

This could be the role for you.

We’re recruiting a Training Administrator to join a well-established professional organisation and become a key member of its small, friendly and busy Training team.

This is much more than simply processing paperwork. You’ll be at the heart of the training operation – helping customers, coordinating courses, solving problems and making sure everything runs smoothly from initial booking through to course completion.

Just as importantly, we’re looking for someone who is curious about technology, systems and smarter ways of working. If you enjoy finding solutions, improving processes and exploring how CRM systems, digital tools and AI can make things more efficient, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to make an impact.

What you'll be doing

You’ll be one of the first points of contact for delegates, clients and trainers, providing a helpful, professional service and making sure they have an excellent experience.

Your role will include:

  • Managing training enquiries, bookings, transfers, cancellations and refunds
  • Coordinating online and face-to-face training courses
  • Keeping delegate and course information accurate across CRM and learning systems
  • Preparing joining instructions, course materials, registers and certificates
  • Liaising with trainers, venues, suppliers and colleagues
  • Supporting selected face-to-face training courses and events
  • Helping with reporting, customer feedback and digital content
  • Testing new systems and digital tools
  • Spotting opportunities to streamline administration and improve the customer experience

It’s a varied, fast-paced role where you’ll have the freedom to use your initiative and get involved.

Who we're looking for

We’re less interested in someone who simply accepts “that’s how we’ve always done it” and more interested in someone who asks:

“Could we do this better?”

You’ll probably be someone who is:

  • Naturally helpful and genuinely enjoys working with people
  • Highly organised and comfortable juggling several priorities
  • A confident and friendly communicator, both in writing and on the phone
  • Curious about technology and happy learning new systems
  • Comfortable using CRM systems, Microsoft 365 and digital platforms
  • Interested in how AI and automation can improve everyday processes
  • Calm under pressure and able to solve problems as they arise
  • Proactive, inquisitive and willing to ask questions
  • A team player who enjoys learning and getting involved

Experience in training administration, learning, events, bookings or customer service would be particularly useful.

Previous experience with a training provider would be a bonus, but it isn’t essential. What matters most is your customer-service mindset, energy, organisation and ability to learn quickly.

Experience with CRM databases, Learning Management Systems, Excel, online booking systems, Teams or Zoom would also be advantageous.

What's on offer?

Alongside a £30,750 salary and 35-hour working week, you’ll join an organisation that takes employee wellbeing and professional development seriously.

Benefits include:

  • Hybrid and flexible working
  • Group Personal Pension Plan
  • Private healthcare
  • Life Assurance
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Wellbeing programme
  • Travel expenses for staff onsite days
  • Access to professional courses and qualifications
  • Annual leave increasing with service

Where will you work?

The organisation operates a hybrid working model. You’ll work remotely for much of the time but will need to be able to travel into London regularly, with a minimum of three office days per month as well as occasional attendance at training courses, events and additional team days.

For this reason, the opportunity is likely to suit someone based in London or within a reasonable commuting distance.

Interested?

If you’re looking for an administration role where you can work with people, use your initiative, embrace technology and genuinely improve how things are done, we’d love to hear from you.

You don’t need to tick every single box. If you’re organised, customer-focused, tech-curious and ready to get stuck in, this could be an excellent next step.
