Shopify Web Developer

We are looking for a talented Shopify Frontend Developer to join our growing digital team. Reporting to the Head of eCommerce, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimising our Shopify Plus websites across Memento Exclusives and partner brands, including F1 Authentics, MotoGP Authentics, and UFC Collectibles.

As a key member of the eCommerce team, you will help deliver exceptional online experiences for fans worldwide. You’ll combine technical expertise, creativity, and commercial awareness to enhance website performance, user experience, and conversion.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimise, and maintain Shopify Plus stores across multiple brand websites
• Implement best practices in CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation) and UX design to maximise engagement and sales
• Create and customise Shopify themes using Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, CSS/SASS, and jQuery
• Develop and integrate Shopify apps and third-party tools to enhance functionality
• Ensure sites are fully optimised for speed, performance, and SEO
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams on creative, campaign-driven updates
• Build and maintain efficient, scalable front-end codebases using GraphQL, Node.js, and PHP where required
• Troubleshoot issues, test functionality, and deploy updates across live environments
• Research and implement emerging technologies and best practices to drive innovation

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 3 years of proven Shopify web development experience
• Strong understanding of Shopify Plus, Liquid coding, and custom theme development
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, SASS/CSS, and jQuery
• Experience with Shopify apps, API integrations, and speed optimisation
• Proven ability to create and implement rich, innovative user experiences
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong eye for design and UX consistency
• Solution-driven mindset with efficient problem-solving skills
• Experience in front-end development for professional eCommerce stores
• Collaborative, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects effectively

Desirable Skills

• Familiarity with PHP, GraphQL, and Node.js
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. GitHub)
• Understanding of SEO principles and site optimisation techniques
• Experience building or optimising email templates
• Knowledge of Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator for front-end assets
