Data Analyst- FTC (6 months) Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week Salary: £31,596 per annum Location: Remote Enabling Leadership. Driving Excellence. Making a Difference. About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and precision-focused Data Analyst to join Mental Health Matters. This role will support the delivery of high-quality data analysis and reporting across the organisation, helping to turn information from a range of sources into clear, meaningful and timely insight. Working as part of the data team, you will develop reports and dashboards that support operational, clinical and strategic decision making, while helping colleagues to understand performance, identify trends and make evidence-based improvements. You will also play an important role in supporting data quality, governance and reporting processes, ensuring that information is accurate, consistent and used effectively to demonstrate impact and improve outcomes for the people we support. The role works closely with service, leadership and wider organisational teams to understand data needs, respond to reporting requirements and contribute to continuous improvement across MHM. About you We're looking for a curious, analytical and precision-focused professional who is passionate about using data to improve services, support decision making and demonstrate impact. You will have experience working in a data, analytics or reporting role, with the ability to collect, analyse and interpret information from a range of sources. You'll be confident using tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL or similar to produce reports, dashboards and meaningful insight for different audiences. You will be comfortable working with colleagues across services and central teams to understand reporting needs, respond to data requests and translate complex information into clear, accessible findings. You'll bring strong attention to detail, a commitment to accuracy and an understanding of the importance of data quality, governance and information governance. You will bring: * Experience working in a data, analytics or reporting role. * Experience collecting, analysing and interpreting data to produce meaningful insight. * Confidence using data tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL or similar. * Experience producing reports and dashboards for a range of audiences. * The ability to work with multiple data sources and datasets. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. * Good communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to non-technical audiences. * An understanding of data quality, data governance and information governance principles. * Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines. * A collaborative, proactive and solutions-focused approach. * A commitment to using data to improve outcomes for the people MHM supports.
