Job summary

This is a technical systems role rather than a traditional administrative position, requiring experience of system administration, configuration, troubleshooting, upgrades and continuous improvement across business applications. Ensuring that MHM's systems are reliable, secure, and designed to deliver the best possible experience for colleagues across the organisation. Working closely with teams including People, Payroll, Finance, and Data, you will help ensure that our systems and processes support informed decision-making, operational efficiency, and high-quality service delivery. Acting as the organisation's systems expert, you will take ownership of the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of business-critical applications. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to understand their needs, translate business requirements into practical technical solutions, and identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance user experience. This is a varied role that combines systems administration with project delivery, problem-solving, and relationship building. You will support the implementation of new systems and integrations, manage upgrades and enhancements, and provide expert guidance to colleagues at all levels.

Alongside maintaining the integrity, security, and performance of our systems, you will work closely with the Data team to support reporting and analytics capabilities, ensuring that accurate and meaningful information is available to enable evidence-based decisions. Through a proactive and customer-focused approach, you will champion continuous improvement, helping to create systems that are intuitive, efficient, and responsive to the changing needs of the organisation. About You We're looking for an experienced systems professional with a proactive and solutions-focused approach. You'll have proven experience managing and developing business systems, alongside strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical colleagues, you'll be able to translate business requirements into effective solutions and communicate complex information clearly. You will be highly organised, able to manage competing priorities, and committed to delivering excellent service and continuously improving the systems and processes that support the organisation. Experience of HR and Finance systems is essential, while knowledge of iTrent, Microsoft Dynamics and Patient Management Systems would also be advantageous.
