Meraki Talent's large global client is actively looking for a Senior PostgreSQL Analyst (SRE) to join their expanding tech team. The Senior PostgreSQL Analyst (SRE) will take up a key technical leadership role, shaping the direction of DBA, ensuring tech approaches are innovative and aligned with goals.

Responsibilities of the Senior PostgreSQL Analyst (SRE):

- Ensure availability and scalability of systems and services

- Resolution and response to system outages and disruptions

- Developing tools and scripts to automate processes

- Monitoring system performance and resource usage

- Collaborate with development to integrate best practices

Background of the Senior PostgreSQL Analyst (SRE):

- Experience as a DBA with a focus on PostgreSQL essential

- Experience in implementing and leading SRE practices helpful

- Experience of Kubernetes and Containerisation helpful

- Experience of DevOps automation tools Eg. GIT, JIRA, CI/CD etc

- Experience of scripting languages for automation/migration handy

- Experience of sys config man tools such as Chef and Ansible helpful
