Position: Bilingual English–Italian Language Expert Type: Independent Contractor Compensation: $20–$30/hour Location: Remote Duration: 1+ months Commitment: 10+ hours/week Role Responsibilities
- Review and assess AI-generated Italian translations for accuracy, fluency, and contextual relevance.
- Identify and correct unnatural phrasing, tone issues, and mistranslations to ensure native fluency.
- Ensure all content aligns with how Italian is commonly used in Italy.
- Provide constructive feedback on language quality and localization accuracy.
- Maintain high reading speed and strong attention to linguistic detail while working independently and asynchronously.
- Native or near-native fluency in both Italian and English.
- Deep familiarity with regional language usage in Italy.
- 1+ year of experience in translation, localization, or language review.
- Strong analytical and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and fast reading comprehension.
