Who we are
At Mercury, we're redefining how recruitment and staffing firms use technology. Our cloud-based SaaS platform, built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform, helps businesses automate, scale, and perform at their best.
Founded in 2014, we've grown rapidly into a global organisation with teams across the UK, US, and Australia, trusted by more than 100 customers and 8,000 users. Our growth is powered by innovation and driven by people who care about doing great work. We believe in building technology that changes how the industry works and in creating an environment where talented people can do their best work every day.
What you'll do
As a Full Stack Developer at Mercury, you'll play a key role in developing and enhancing the software that underpins our market-leading SaaS platform.
You'll be joining a collaborative team made up of 4 Full Stack Developers and 2 QA Engineers, all working together to design and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
Working in an Agile, cross-functional environment, you'll help shape the next generation of our AI-driven products with a strong focus on backend development and Azure cloud technologies, while contributing across the full stack.
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Contribute to the design and delivery of new AI-driven features, including work with agentic AI and prompt engineering.
- Build cloud-native solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure, including Service Bus, Queues, and messaging patterns.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to translate user stories into functional, performant applications.
- Develop responsive front-end interfaces using TypeScript, JavaScript, Angular, HTML5, and CSS/SASS.
- Participate in all Agile ceremonies; sprint planning, refinement, retrospectives and contribute ideas to improve how the team works.
- Conduct code reviews and apply clean coding principles to ensure quality and maintainability.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and RESTful APIs using C# and .NET (Core and Framework).
- Work closely with QA Engineers to ensure all deliverables meet performance, security, and quality standards.
What we're looking for
You'll be someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment and takes pride in writing clean, efficient, and scalable code. You'll bring strong technical capability alongside the curiosity and mindset to help drive innovation.
We're looking for:

- Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment - ideally as someone who champions continuous improvement and advocates for Agile principles.
- Solution-focused with strong critical thinking and analytical skills, able to assess challenges logically and recommend practical approaches.
- A natural collaborator who communicates clearly and contributes positively to team culture.
Bonus points for:
