Senior Full-Stack Engineer (React / NodeJS)

Metamindz is a fast-growing UK-based IT software company. We help by providing fractional CTOs as-a-service, building digital products, hiring technical talent, and conducting tech due diligence.

We’re currently looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join one of our international clients in a long-term arrangement. This is a full-time remote opportunity for a highly experienced engineer passionate about building scalable, performant, and elegant web applications using modern technologies across both front-end and back-end.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain complex full-stack applications using ReactJS, TypeScript, NodeJS, Express, and NestJS;
• Develop responsive and mobile-friendly front-end interfaces using modern styling libraries (Tailwind, Material UI, SCSS, etc.);
• Optimize both front-end and back-end performance, including database queries and API efficiency;
• Work with MongoDB and Mongoose, design efficient database schemas, indexes, and ensure optimal DB performance;
• Implement background workers and asynchronous processing where needed;
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code across the entire stack;
• Collaborate closely with other developers, designers, product managers, and QA teams;
• Contribute to architectural decisions and continuous improvement of development processes.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of commercial experience with ReactJS and TypeScript;
• 6+ years of experience with NodeJS and Express;
• 2-3+ years of experience with NestJS;
• Solid experience with modern styling libraries such as Tailwind, Material UI, or SCSS;
• Strong understanding of responsive design and mobile-first front-end development;
• Experience working with MongoDB, Mongoose, and database performance optimization (indexes, schema design);
• Experience implementing background workers and asynchronous processing;
• Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mentality, and attention to detail;
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
