Data Programme Lead

Data Programme Lead | Post-Deal Integration | £1250- £1400 pd Inside IR35 | London Hybrid

Working with a sizeable UK business on a complex integration programme and we need a Senior Data Subject matter expert to take ownership of the data workstream from day one.

Overview:

You will be the single point of accountability for everything data on a post-deal integration. That covers the strategy for bringing two estates together, the practical migration plan, the target architecture, data quality and reconciliation, and the reporting and MI that the programme leadership will rely on to make decisions.

You will sit alongside the overall Programme Director and the Technology Integration Lead, run a small delivery team underneath you, and pull in cross-functional support from finance, operations, risk and the existing data and engineering functions.

This is a workstream lead role, not a hands-on engineering seat. You need to be senior enough to set direction, credible enough to challenge an executive, and grounded enough to actually deliver.

Required experience:

• Proven track record leading the data workstream on a post-merger integration, carve-out or major transformation
• Strong grip on data migration, mapping and reconciliation across complex legacy environments
• Comfortable owning target state architecture decisions and steering technical teams without losing the business view
• Confident on data governance, lineage and quality in a regulated environment
• Genuinely numerate. Synergy and benefits cases, cost modelling and exec level reporting should sit easily with you
• Financial services experience is welcome but not essential if the integration credentials are strong

Rate: circa £1250-£1400 per day IR35: Inside Location: London, hybrid Start: ASAP

Duration: 12 month initial contract
