Overview

Method has partnered with a global business that is building out its AI capability within the Microsoft ecosystem.

They are hiring a Technical Architect to take ownership of AI and integration, with a clear expectation that this person will design and build solutions, not just define strategy.

The role sits within an Emerging Technology function and will focus on:

• Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI agents
• Azure-based AI services
• Integration between systems using Azure and Power Platform

This is a hands-on role, where you will be responsible for taking AI use cases from idea through to production.

The Opportunity

The business has already started exploring AI, but there is no single owner of how it should be designed, built, and integrated.

This role will:

• Bring structure to how AI is implemented
• Ensure solutions are built in a consistent and scalable way
• Connect AI into existing business systems so it delivers real value

You will be responsible for both:

• Building solutions yourself
• Defining how others should build them going forward

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of AI and integration across the Microsoft stack and Design and build AI solutions using:

• Microsoft 365 Copilot
• Copilot Studio/Agent Builder
• Azure AI services (OpenAI, AI Foundry)
• Develop AI agents and workflows that solve real business problems

Design and implement integrations using:

• Azure Functions
• Azure Logic Apps
• Power Automate/Power Platform
• Connect AI solutions into core systems such as HR, Finance, and operational platforms
• Work with APIs, webhooks, and event-driven patterns to ensure systems communicate properly

Define and document:

• Reference architectures
• Integration patterns
• Standards for how AI and integration should be delivered

Work with stakeholders to:

• Understand requirements
• Translate them into technical solutions
• Deliver working systems

Support governance by ensuring AI solutions meet:

• Security requirements
• Data protection standards
• Internal policies

Act as the technical point of contact for AI and integration across the business

Skills & Experience

• Experience building AI solutions using Microsoft technologies
• Microsoft 365 Copilot or Copilot Studio
• Azure AI services (OpenAI or similar)
• Azure Functions
• Logic Apps
• Power Platform
• APIs
• Authentication (OAuth, identity)
• Event-driven architecture
• Experience designing systems that run in production and can scale
• Experience working in enterprise environments where:
• Security matters
• Systems are complex
• There are multiple stakeholders
