Infrastructure Engineer Mid 12 Month FTC

Infrastructure & EUC Engineer (Mid-Level) 12 Month FTC | £45,000 - £50,000 | Microsoft365 | Azure | Networking

Location: Hybrid (occasional UK travel)

We're looking for an Infrastructure & EUC Engineer ready to step up from 2nd line/service desk into a more strategic, project-focused role. You'll still solve escalations and user challenges, but you'll also take ownership of Microsoft 365, Intune, and Cisco Meraki projects that shape how we deliver IT nationally.

This is a development role, you'll be supported by senior engineers while gaining project exposure and broadening your infrastructure skillset.

What you'll do

• Provide 2nd/3rd line support, taking ownership of escalations.
• Manage devices and software via Intune, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365.
• Support infrastructure projects (Win11 upgrades, Meraki replacements, Intune uplift).
• Administer SharePoint and assist with data governance controls.
• Travel occasionally to UK sites for hands-on infrastructure tasks.
• Collaborate with service desk to share knowledge and raise technical capability.
• Contribute to documentation and process improvement.

The tech you'll touch

• Microsoft 365: Intune, Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint
• Microsoft Azure services
• Cisco Meraki networking
• PowerShell scripting (desirable)

What we're looking for

• Experience in 2nd line or service desk with exposure to Microsoft 365.
• Hands-on knowledge of Intune or device management.
• Some networking familiarity (Meraki ideal, not essential).
• Desire to grow into a more project-heavy infrastructure role.
• Strong communication skills, confident supporting end users and collaborating across teams.
