They're looking to appoint a Senior Node.js/AWS Developer to join their platform engineering team, building cloud-native products that power AI-driven content and large-scale digital campaigns for globally recognised brands.

This is a senior position suited to someone with deep expertise across Node.js, TypeScript and AWS Serverless technologies, who enjoys taking ownership of projects from concept through to delivery.

Full Time Permanent Role

London (Hybrid) - 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote

Salary - Up to £80,000 + Benefits

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Designing, building and delivering scalable backend applications using Node.js and TypeScript
Developing and maintaining REST APIs and serverless services
Architecting AWS cloud solutions using Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Step Functions, SNS, SQS and S3
Taking projects from requirements gathering through to deployment and ongoing support
Working closely with frontend developers, technical stakeholders and product teams
Creating and maintaining database structures across SQL and NoSQL environments
Supporting CI/CD processes and deployment automation
Solving complex technical challenges and contributing to architectural decisions
Communicating technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Taking ownership of solutions and driving delivery with minimal supervision

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Strong commercial experience with Node.js and TypeScript
Experience designing and building REST APIs
Strong AWS Serverless expertise including Lambda, API Gateway and DynamoDB
Experience working with SQS, SNS, Step Functions and S3
Strong SQL and NoSQL database knowledge
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices
Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail
A passion for building scalable, reliable cloud-native applications
