Method has partnered with an early-stage health-tech company building a women's health platform (biomarker analysis, questionnaires, personalised reports).

They are looking to engage a Senior Full-Stack Engineer on a contract basis to build out the MVP. The core product is live, is well-architected, and has good documentation, so the focus is now on scaling content, marketing, and commerce capability.

This is a hands-on senior engineering role, taking ownership of delivery across a 12-week programme. The initial focus is on stabilisation, addressing tracking, CI/CD, and key security and configuration issues. This is followed by frontend and payments work in weeks two to three, including migrating the application from, improving the Stripe integration, and implementing core tracking and SEO foundations, and more,.

Tech Stack

React, TypeScript, Next.js, Python (FastAPI), PostgreSQL, GCP (Cloud Run/SQL), Stripe, Firebase Auth, Terraform.

Key Requirements

Strong React/TypeScript and Next.js (SSR/SSG)
Python/FastAPI backend experience
PostgreSQL and data modelling
GCP familiarity + CI/CD discipline
Stripe (Checkout, webhooks)
Comfortable working independently and making architectural decisions

Nice to Have

Headless CMS, SEO/Core Web Vitals, marketing integrations (Mailchimp, Meta), GDPR/health-tech exposure, dynamic form builders.

Details

Contract: 12-weeks (Outside)

Rate: £500-600/day

Remote (UK preferred)

Reporting directly to founder
