As they continue to scale, they're looking to hire an experienced Senior Power BI Developer to take ownership of their enterprise reporting environment and play a key role in shaping their business intelligence capability.This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled Power BI professional who enjoys working across the full BI lifecycle, from data modelling and dashboard development through to governance, optimisation, and stakeholder engagement. You'll work closely with Data Engineering teams and business leaders to deliver trusted, scalable, and high-performing reporting solutions.Key Responsibilities:Own and develop the organisation's Power BI reporting estate, including dashboards, reports, and semantic modelsDesign and maintain scalable data models using dimensional modelling and star schema best practicesDevelop advanced DAX calculations and Power Query transformationsOptimise report and dataset performance, ensuring reliability and scalabilityPartner with Data Engineering teams to support data warehousing and analytics architecture initiativesImplement and maintain Power BI governance, security, and reporting standardsEngage with stakeholders across multiple business functions to gather requirements and define KPIsDeliver actionable insights through intuitive and visually compelling dashboardsPerform data validation and quality assurance using SQL and other analytical toolsContribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes and BI best practicesCandidate Skills/Experience:5+ years' experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Power BI-focused rolesStrong commercial experience designing and delivering Power BI solutions in production environmentsAdvanced Power BI expertise, including semantic modelling, DAX, Power Query, and performance optimisationExcellent data modelling skills with experience of star schema and dimensional modelling techniquesStrong SQL skills, including complex query writing, data validation, and performance tuningExperience working with enterprise data warehouses and modern BI architecturesDemonstrable experience engaging with business stakeholders and translating requirements into technical solutionsStrong understanding of BI governance, security, and best practice reporting standardsExperience with Azure, AWS, or other cloud data platforms would be beneficialExposure to Microsoft Fabric, Lakehouse architectures, or modern analytics platforms would be advantageousKnowledge of Python or R for automation and analytics is a bonusThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a data-driven organisation where you'll have genuine ownership of a critical BI platform and the chance to influence how data is used across the business.
