Data Engineer - Live Security Clearance

Methods are looking for a Security Cleared Data Engineer for a contract from November to March 2026. The role will be predominantly remote but with the odd site visit in London.

Experience Required:

• Data engineering - specifically experience in ingesting and maintaining data pipelines.
• MS fabric experience (Spark notebooks, pipelines, data flows)
• Python is essential
• Knowledge of REST APIs, SFTP data ingestion is useful.
• PowerBI for dashboarding
• Some knowledge of LLMs would be useful - especially Azure AI
• Foundry but as long as someone knows the basics of LLMs they should be able to pick this up
• There is an element of Neo4J involved.
• Stakeholder management is key -
• There is a need to translate technical things into easy to digest info for stakeholders.
• There is an element of project planning and scoping

This role will require you to have Security Clearance. As part of the onboarding process candidates will be asked to complete a Baseline Personnel Security Standard; details of the evidence required to apply may be found on the government website.
