Senior User Researcher - inside IR35
Daily rate: £500 inside IR35
Location: Remote with adhoc travel
Duration: initial 3 months contract with possible extension

The Role:
The Senior User Researcher will help the team understand users' behaviours, challenges and motivations, ensuring that decisions are based on evidence. They will be responsible for selecting appropriate research methods, carrying out research ethically and inclusively, and ensuring insights are documented and shared effectively.
Requirements:
The resource would sit within the existing UR team and support delivery across key areas, including leading research activities, shaping research approaches, managing stakeholders, and ensuring insights inform service and product decisions
SFIA Level 5 is required due to the increased scope, complexity, and level of responsibility of the role. This includes leading content design across multiple teams and service areas, shaping and embedding content strategy, and making strategic decisions that influence service direction.
The Senior User Researcher must have practical experience planning and conducting user research within multidisciplinary agile teams, using a range of qualitative and basic quantitative methods, and translating findings into clear, actionable insights. They should understand user-centred design principles, ethical and inclusive research practices, accessibility considerations, and be confident engaging with users and stakeholders, as well as documenting and presenting research outcomes
The role requires a high level of autonomy, the ability to influence stakeholders across disciplines, and responsibility for ensuring quality and consistency at a service or programme level capabilities aligned with SFIA 5.
