Remote with ad hoc travel for things like workshops, most travel is likely to be to Leeds Newcastle or Manchester few times a month max.

The department is delivering multiple projects under the Data Strategy, all of which rely on robust and consistent data standards as a foundational element. To ensure success, we need to design a clear, user-centred approach to how data standards are defined, implemented, and maintained across the organisation.

Objective

To provide specialist design and analysis capability that will shape the department's approach to data standards, ensuring alignment with user needs, organisational goals, and interoperability requirements.

Scope of Work

The work will focus on:

• Designing the end-to-end approach for defining and applying data standards.
• Engaging stakeholders across the department to understand needs and pain points.
• Producing artefacts and guidance that enable consistent adoption of standards across projects.
