We're working with a marketing technology company with a focus on ad testing. The company was founded in 2015 and is entirely independent. They maximise media effectiveness by understanding the most important contribution to the campaign - the creative.
Their rigorous approach helps advertisers understand what creatives work, and just as importantly - why. They work with some of the biggest brands in the world, partnering to drive their creative and messaging strategy forward. Their offering is underpinned by best-in-class ad pre-testing solutions, cloud-native and scalable systems, and a large in-house engineering team. Within the company, there is a wealth of experience in media strategy, planning, data science, qualitative research, software, and data engineering. Operations are global, spread across NA, EMEA, and APAC with offices/hubs in London, McLean, Singapore, and Melbourne. They also work asynchronously across regions and have local hybrid working policies
The Role
They are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Regional Director, EMEA to lead their operations across EMEA. Based in their London office, you will be responsible for overseeing the UK team, managing business operations, and fostering strong client relationships throughout the region. This role demands a strategic leader with a proven track record in a fast-paced, technology-enabled environment, someone adept at seamlessly leveraging their centralised HR, Finance, and IT functions to achieve their ambitious goals. They are proponents of using technology to drive, but not replace, human insight. All team members embrace the use of technology and AI and use it to shape our future offerings.
This Regional Director, EMEA role is based in our central London office (minimum in-office three days weekly). They will be integral to on-site collaboration, by working closely with Client Services, Engineering, Product, HR, IT and Finance team
Responsibilities
Regional Leadership & Strategy:
Provide strong leadership and direction to the UK office team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Develop and execute the EMEA business strategy in alignment with Human Made Machine's global objectives. Will have a strong focus on market growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.
Maintain a strong understanding of the market and our strengths/weaknesses in this context to effectively position our proposition and support sustainable competitive advantages.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, market expansion, and strategic partnerships across the EMEA region.
Represent Human Made Machine at industry events, conferences, and with key stakeholders across EMEA.
Business Operations & Performance:
Structure the business resources to deliver against company goals and objectives.
Oversee the overall operational performance of the EMEA region, ensuring the effective delivery of projects and services.
Collaborate closely with centralised HR, Finance, and IT departments to optimise regional operations, ensure compliance, and leverage shared services effectively.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics for the EMEA region, implementing corrective actions as needed to achieve targets.
Ensure all regional activities comply with local regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
Client Management & Growth:
Responsible for maintaining and building our reputation externally, with a strong narrative that sells our proposition effectively.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients across the EMEA region, acting as a senior point of contact and escalation for critical accounts.
Drive client satisfaction and retention through excellent service delivery and proactive engagement.
Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and acquire new business within the region.
Work closely with sales and marketing to develop and implement effective client acquisition and retention strategies.
Lead distributed, multi-regional teams with sensitivity, and embed inclusive leadership practices across the region.
Manage performance, conduct regular reviews, and support professional development initiatives for team members.
Drive recruitment efforts for key roles within the EMEA region, working with HR to attract and retain top talent.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in a senior management role.
Demonstrated success in managing P&L for EMEA or international regions with a strong track record in revenue forecasting, accurate budgeting, and driving regional EBITDA performance.
Demonstrated success in driving business growth and market expansion in multiple countries within EMEA.
Strong understanding of centralised business operations (HR, Finance, IT) and experience working effectively with shared service models.
Exceptional client-facing skills with a track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with enterprise-level clients.
Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop diverse teams.
Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Youll stand out if you have:
If you worked within the technology, AI, or SaaS sectors.
Experience with emerging AI technology:
Knowledge of marketing/media/creative strategy.
