UX Designer

Role: UX Designer   |   Location: Farringdon   |   Salary: £50,860

About the UX Designer Role:

As the UX Designer, you'll be responsible for conducting creating wireframes and designs for MTVH websites, intranet and digital products, and regularly conducting usability testing. To collaborate with the UX researcher, product managers, designers and stakeholders to build a thorough understanding of users? needs, problems, mental models, motivations and behaviors, as well as the business problems and goals. And assist the UX researcher on activities like stakeholder and user interviews, surveys, competitor/peer analysis and other techniques. Work together to create affinity maps, personas, user journey maps and other documentation to visualise research and testing results and share insights with colleagues.

You will define measurable KPIs and formulate prioritised hypotheses that aim to achieve those metrics.

Have an excellent knowledge of standard UX patterns, as well as a solid understanding of the ways in which design can improve the user experience.

What we are looking for from you:

  • Experienced UX designer with a particular interest in the research and testing aspect of the role
  • Able to clearly visualise research and testing results, e.g., using affinity maps, personas, user journey maps and other techniques
  • Knowledge of industry-standard research methods and experienced in planning, recruiting for and conducting moderated and unmoderated user testing
  • Confident using both qualitative and quantitative data and insights to inform and shape UX decisions
  • Good understanding of how digital products are built
