What's the role really about?
This is a delivery role.
Not a support role with the occasional project thrown in.
You'll join a dedicated Projects Team, taking ownership of infrastructure projects from initial planning through to successful delivery.
One week you could be migrating a customer into Microsoft 365.
The next, deploying new Windows Server environments, rolling out Intune, upgrading virtual infrastructure, or reconfiguring networking.
You'll work directly with customers, helping them modernise their IT while making sure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
What you'll be doing
- Delivering customer infrastructure projects from start to finish
- Implementing Microsoft 365 solutions, including Intune, Entra ID and SharePoint
- Deploying and migrating Windows Server environments
- Delivering virtualisation projects across Hyper-V and VMware
- Installing and configuring networking infrastructure, including switches, firewalls and wireless solutions
- Supporting customer onboarding and infrastructure upgrades
- Assisting with technical pre-sales and project scoping where required
- Producing clear project documentation and handover information
- Building strong relationships with customers throughout project delivery
What you'll bring
- Previous experience delivering IT infrastructure projects
- Good knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including:
- Microsoft 365
- Windows Server
- Entra ID / Azure AD
- Intune
- SharePoint
- Experience with virtualisation technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware
- Good networking knowledge across switching, firewalls and TCP/IP
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with customers
- A proactive approach and genuine sense of ownership
- Ideally a background of working within an MSP environment
