Business Analyst

Business Analyst - SQL, Excel and Power BI - Insurance, The City, London

My client, an insurance organisation based in The City of London has a requirement for a Business Analyst, with the following requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within insurance (London Market experience highly desirable, but broader insurance backgrounds considered)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive requirements from informal discussions through to formal sign-off
  • Very good understanding of data, data structures, and data warehousing concepts
  • Hands-on experience with SQL for data analysis
  • Strong Excel skills and experience using Power BI for reporting and visualisation
  • Experience working across multiple reporting types (actuarial, financial, operational, etc.)
  • Ability to explore and understand underlying databases and data flows
