CTO Lead Architect

CTO/Head of Architecture | Insurance | London

I’m currently partnering with a highly regarded insurance organisation looking to appoint a Head of Technology Strategy & Architecture into a critical leadership position reporting directly into the CTO.

This is a genuinely high-impact role sitting at the intersection of enterprise technology, architecture, business transformation, and strategic change.

The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and governing enterprise-wide technology strategy, translating business objectives into scalable operating models, capability roadmaps, and long-term architectural direction.

• Stakeholder Engagement at Executive Level

We’re particularly keen to speak with individuals who have:

• Strong insurance or broader financial services experience

• Proven experience leading enterprise architecture and technology strategy functions

• Deep understanding of modern architecture practices including cloud-native, APIs, data platforms, and AI-enabled solutions

• Experience operating across both technology and business transformation initiatives

• Strong leadership capability with experience building and developing high-performing architecture teams

• Excellent executive stakeholder management and communication skills
