Senior Security Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Engineer to join a major digital transformation programme. Working closely with delivery teams, you will provide cyber security expertise across strategic and business-critical initiatives, helping to protect systems, applications, data, and cloud environments from evolving cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of security infrastructure, tooling, and controls across projects.
• Provide expertise across Security Architecture, Application Security, Cloud Security, and Cryptography.
• Embed security controls and assurance activities into project delivery.
• Coordinate penetration testing and manage remediation activities.
• Support the development of security architecture, secure SDLC practices, and application security standards.
• Act as an escalation point during major incidents, disaster recovery, and business continuity events.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and third-party teams to ensure secure delivery of services.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in a Senior Security Engineering role within a complex, regulated environment.
• Strong background delivering cyber security projects and transformation initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with security technologies, cloud security, and application security.
• Experience integrating SAST, DAST, and SCA tools into development pipelines.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CSSP, or equivalent.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
