CRM & Email Marketing Manager

The CRM & Email Marketing Manager will oversee the planning, execution and optimisation of CRM and Email Marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

This is a technical CRM role and perfect for someone who enjoys building campaigns and working closely with teams and senior stakeholders to continue building their high profile content and online communities.

Description

Michael Page are pleased to be partnering with a market leading media business who are looking to hire an experienced Email Marketing & CRM Manager to join the team.

You will play a key role in the delivery of sophisticated B2B and B2C email marketing, newsletters and campaigns. You will implement, test and optimise for reach, open rates, clickthroughs and conversions.

This is a hands-on opportunity and perfect for someone who enjoys the technical side of CRM. You will plan, build and send emails on a daily basis and work closely with the Editorial team on copy, plans, ideas and content for campaigns.

Please note - Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience is essential for this role.

This is a hybrid role (3 days a week onsite) - 5 days a week needed on site during Probation and onboarding

Profile

  • Previous CRM and email marketing experience
  • Previous experience delivering campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Experience briefing and supervising the design of marketing emails
  • Knowledge of email deliverability requirements and best practices
  • Experience segmenting customer data for email targeting
  • Some experience with marketing automation technologies
  • Strong copywriting and proof-reading skills
  • A/B and multivariate testing experience across email
  • Exposure to Google Analytics and Data Studio for campaign analysis and reporting
  • Build reports and dashboards to help sales and marketing users get the right insight from Salesforce, including email performance reporting
  • Use performance data to identify customer needs, define new products and enhancements to existing products through improved segmentation and personalisation
  • Work with database and development teams to identify and implement CRM data improvements
  • Manage the Salesforce development roadmap and lead the relationship with our Salesforce implementation partner to supervise delivery of new features and enhancements
  • Perform database maintenance tasks, including data hygiene and duplicate management
