Change Communications Manager - IT/Systems Change

Our client are a London based government organisation that protect the public.
Description
Reporting to the Change Lead the role involves but is not limited to:
- Working cross functionally both upwards and with the programme/project teams to build & roll out robust change communications plans
- Lead and facilitate workshops to identify key stakeholder groups, complete Change Impact Assessments and conduct Training Needs Analysis capture.
- Support the business change lead to identify and build relationships across the organisation to create channels that enable feedback to flow in and out of the business unit to ensure there is understanding of business priorities/adoption etc.
- Work closely with the Change Analysts and PMO to ensure timely delivery of information, dashboards and reports
- Help to develop, sponsor and promote a programme 'brand' with standards and consistency
- Support the Lead to develop an appropriate and proportionate assessment for business readiness - ensuring that it is built into every go live to ensure all boxes are ticked before progressing
- Support the Lead to identify / deal with resistance to change through a variety of change interventions
- Write clear, concise and meaningful communications when required
- Deliver other activities related to supporting the programme to ensure users are ready for the programme changes
Profile
The candidate that secures this role will be able to demonstrate extensive working knowledge of large scale IT change programmes operating with diverse and often hard to reach workforces.
You will be able to evidence the following skills and knowledge:
- Able to think strategically but roll up sleeves when required - be a team player and ensure change priorities are delivered
- Strong presenter, communicator and facilitator - comfortable leading sessions and workshops to translate technical change into user friendly information
- Experience in e learning, AI, web design, videos and basically creative ways of reaching large numbers of staff effectively - train the trainer capability would be an advantage
- Being able to manage multiple projects and priorities and be able to flex and pivot quickly when required
- Proactive, creative thinker and robust in nature - able to think around problems and design options to resolve programme blocks.
- Resilient and able to challenge and have robust conversations with senior stakeholders - especially around competing priorities
- Attention to detail on all deliverables - working to deliver governance and process.
- Happy to be on site in central London (more West End than City) 3 days/week
Job Offer
Competitive Umbrella Daily Rate - intial 5 month contract with likelihood to extend beyond.
