Finance Assistant
As part of the Finance Systems team, you will work collaboratively to maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial systems by updating and amending system data and configurations under the direction of the Senior Systems Accountant

A not-for-profit organisation located in Birmingham.
Description
Update and amend the finance system as directed by the Senior Systems Accountant.
· Perform routine system checks to ensure data integrity and identify anomalies.
· Assist with user account administration, permissions, functionalities and access requests.
· Support the testing of new functionality, upgrades and system developments.
· Maintain system documentation, user guides and process notes.
· To support a wide range of internal customers to resolve queries, provide information.
· To deal with a wide range of stakeholders including software suppliers to resolve queries and provide information.
Profile
- Achieved an AAT accounting qualification or is qualified by experience.
- Ability to handle handle large volumes of data and complexed process within a dispersed organization
- Experience of using financial systems
- Good attention to detail and ability to check accuracy of own work and the work of others
- A keen interest in systems development and data analysis
- Good customer care skills and the ability to explain financial/ICT processes to non-finance colleagues
- Keen to learn new skills and processes
- Experience of using financial systems NetSuite or other Oracle Financials software
Job Offer
- Salary ranging from £25,300 to £26,700, dependent on the level of experience.
- Long Fixed Term Contract.
