Finance Systems Manager

We are seeking an Finance Systems Manager to oversee finance systems and provide expert support in the Utilities sector. This permanent role, based in Bradford but operates a very flexible hybrid working policy.

Description

  • Manage and maintain finance systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for finance systems users.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system functionality and efficiency.
  • Implement system upgrades and improvements in line with business requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Develop and deliver training programmes for system users.
  • Monitor system performance and generate reports for senior management.
  • Act as the key point of contact for finance system-related queries and projects.

Profile

A successful Finance Systems Manager should have:

  • A background in accounting and finance but does not necessarily need to be an accountant day to day or going forward
  • Proficiency in managing and supporting finance systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining compliance.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
