Finance assistant
You will support the finance team in providing general administrative finance support across sales invoicing, payment processes, payroll, VAT reporting, Tax returns and ensuring the general ledger is accurate at all times.

Description
You will be the first line of support for entering information in Xero, and ensuring the general ledger is accurate and up to date.
You will take on full ownership for inputting sales/purchase invoices on the system and supporting the payment processes, including full ownership over Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Process employees expenses on a monthly basis.
Support with sending reminder emails for any due sales invoices and chase any outstanding ones.
Maintain the accounts mail inbox and action/answer all relevant queries.
You will support with the preparation of pension contributions on a monthly basis.
You will support the payroll process for the UK, US and EU.
You will assist with the production of consolidated monthly management accounts for our UK parent company and US subsidiary including performing balance sheet reconciliations.
You will assist the preparation and submit quarterly VAT reporting.
You will assist with the preparation of US sales tax returns.
You will support the Finance Manager by providing data and reporting for the leadership Team and any ad hoc requests.
You will seek out and implement efficiencies and improvements to all administration processes.
Providing general administrative support across the finance function and support on a number of exciting projects.
Profile
You have prior experience in a Finance Administration role, and want to develop a career with Finance.
You have great administrative and organisational skills.
You have great attention to detail and problem solving skills.
You have great communication skills and are able to communicate at all levels.
You have experience with Google Sheets & Microsoft office, specifically Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets).
You can handle sensitive and personal information with a confidential approach.
Able to multitask and jump on what needs to be done.
Experience with Xero is desirable but not essential.
