Head of Commercial Finance

As the Head of Commercial Finance, based in Cambridgeshire, you'll lead the commercial and FP&A function in the Technology & Telecoms industry. Your role will ensure the business makes informed decisions by delivering insightful analysis and accurate forecasting.

Description

• Lead the commercial finance processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Develop detailed forecasts and budgets to support strategic decision-making.
• Analyse financial performance and provide insights to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with department heads to align financial goals with business objectives.
• Manage and enhance financial models to evaluate business performance.
• Prepare presentations and reports for stakeholders and board meetings.
• Identify and implement process improvements in financial operations.
• Support long-term planning and scenario analysis to drive company growth.

Profile

A successful Head of Commercial Finance should have:

• Strong experience in commercial finance within a similar role.
• A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.
• Proven ability to create and interpret complex financial models.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to present financial insights clearly.
• Experience working in the Technology & Telecoms sector is advantageous.
