The Interim Financial Controller will lead the end-to-end finance function, managing a small team to deliver accurate reporting, strong financial controls, and efficient cash and process management. Description

• People Management: Lead and coach a four-person finance team through tailored development plans, promoting modern tools that enhance capability.
• Cash Management: Own cash flow drivers, manage to agreed funding commitments, and optimise working capital while monitoring deferred revenue balances.
• Process Control: Maintain, refine, and automate finance processes, leveraging technology to accelerate month-end close and create time for value-added analysis.
• Management Reporting: Deliver accurate, timely monthly management accounts and support annual budgeting and long-term planning.
• Financial Control: Ensure compliance with accounting standards (FRS 102 or equivalent), tax, and internal policies through robust reconciliations and approval controls.
