Management Accountant

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a hands-on and varied role that will be central to the production of timely, accurate financial information. You will work closely with both finance colleagues and wider business stakeholders, providing analysis that directly supports commercial and operational initiatives.

Due to ongoing expansion, they are now seeking an ambitious Management Accountant to join their high-performing finance team.

Description

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts.
• Preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting schedules in line with close deadlines
• Completion of balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments
• Monthly revenue, commission, and cost analysis
• Variance reporting and providing performance insights
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
• Supporting payroll calculations, PAYE submissions, headcount reports, and related HR/payroll admin
• Assisting with cashflow forecasting, quarterly forecasting, and the annual budgeting process
• Driving process improvements and efficiency across finance
• Assisting with ad hoc projects across the finance function

Profile

• A strong foundation in accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in financial software and Excel to manage data effectively.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build cross-functional relationships
• The ability to communicate financial information clearly to stakeholders.
• A qualification in accounting (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
