Management Accountant Qualified

This is an exciting opportunity for a Newly Qualified Accountant, with good commercial acumen to join the Technology & Telecoms industry in Reading. The role focuses on financial reporting, budgeting, and supporting strategic decision-making within the Accounting & Finance department.

Description

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support financial planning.
• Monitor and report on financial performance against key business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Support the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors.
• Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Assist in cash flow management and financial modelling activities.
• Contribute to process improvements within the Accounting & Finance department.

Profile

A successful applicant should have:

• A professional accounting qualification (preferably ACCA/CIMA- ACA's with industry experience will be considered).
• Experience in a hands on environment within a varied role
• Experience with management accounting or financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• An understanding of the Technology & Telecoms industry is desirable.
• The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work
• Experience working in a PE environment will be favourable
