Payroll Specialist
The Payroll Specialist will manage end-to-end UK and EMEA payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payments while maintaining compliance with HMRC regulations. Description
- Process monthly payroll for UK and EMEA employees, including starters, leavers, bonuses, and statutory payments.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure timely submission of RTI reports to HMRC.
- Liaise with HR to ensure employee data is up-to-date and correctly reflected in payroll systems.
- Reconcile payroll reports and support Finance with month-end and year-end reporting.
- Manage pension contributions, benefits, and other deductions.
- Respond to employee queries regarding payslips, tax codes, and other payroll-related matters.
- Stay current with UK and EMEA payroll legislation and ensure compliance.
- Support audits and implement process improvements where needed.
Profile
- Proven experience in UK and EMEA payroll processing, ideally within a tech or fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of UK and EMEA payroll legislation, including PAYE, NI, pensions, and statutory leave.
- Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., ADP, PayFit, Sage, or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
