Seeking a Project Payroll (Dayforce) specialist to come in and assist with a wider company (Retail) payroll transformation journey. This is a 6-month, rolling, remote specialist role!

Description
Project Payroll (Dayforce)
Payroll Reporting
- Develop, validate, and maintain payroll reports within Dayforce.
- Analyse payroll data for accuracy, compliance, and trend insights.
- Support audit requirements by producing timely and accurate payroll outputs.
Parallel Running
- Execute and compare Dayforce parallel payroll runs against legacy system outputs.
- Identify discrepancies, analyse variances, and support resolution of issues.
- Document findings and ensure payroll accuracy prior to go-live.
System Uploads
- Prepare and validate bulk data uploads into Dayforce (employee data, pay components, timesheets, etc.).
- Ensure data integrity by performing pre- and post-upload quality checks.
- Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot upload errors or formatting issues.
Profile
Project Payroll (Dayforce)
- Immediately available or on short notice
- Payroll discrepancy spotting exposure
- Experience with parallel runs, uploads and managing multiple work-streams
- Strong communicator, organised and deadline driven
- Respond well to change and project requirements
- Work well with multiple departments - HR, Finance and the wider team
- Happy for an interim contract (minimum 6 months)
- Dayforce payroll exposure is ESSENTIAL
- Strong proficiency in bulk data prep (Excel, CSV's etc.)
